Comfortable look that can easily be achieved with a hat fall.

It can be a struggle to find a way to keep cool while covering one’s hair while the sun is blazing away. Well, look no further, this article is loaded with fashionable hair covering ideas that will keep everyone looking “cool” all summer long.

Hair coverings have revolutionized so much over the past few years it seems like every few months a new product comes onto the market. And thankfully, these new products are made lighter, thinner and more comfortable than ever before.

Kippah falls have literally transformed hair covering in the Modern Orthodox world. A kippah fall or topper is a hair piece that is worn over one’s hair when down. Clients who try them on are totally amazed at how lightweight, comfortable and natural they appear. One of the best features of a kippah fall is that they can be worn in a pony or bun/updo, keeping one’s hair off their neck and cooling them all summer long.

Kippah falls can be made to be as large as one would like, allowing for full coverage of one’s hair should that option be chosen. The lightest and most comfortable version of the kippah fall is currently the ones made with lace. The larger the area on the kippah fall, the lighter it will be on the head. The downside to a kippah fall made with all lace is that it will be extremely fragile and delicate, which is why it is recommended that the lace remain on the top part of the piece and hair wefts used toward the bottom of the piece. Since these pieces are so comfortable and natural looking they have become Sari’s best seller and sell out very quickly.

Low pony look can be done with any type of kippah fall or pony sheitel.

A fully enclosed cap version of the kippah fall would be a pony wig. There are many different types of versions of this type of cap. If a woman’s goal is to wear a high pony or bun, then they will need the hair of the wig specifically sewn in a circular direction, which allows the wearer to wear it up in a very high pony or bun. If one prefers that their pony rests below one’s occipital bone, the hair in the center of the sheitel is made with very low density so that it will be super light on the head and can easily be pulled back into a pony. The hair around the neckline is inverted or hand sewn so that it mimics the natural upsweep look one has with a pony. Customers love that they are able to fully cover their hair while still having all of it completely off their face and neck. This season lace top pony sheitels have been becoming more and more popular.

If a customer is looking to cover their hair while protecting their face from the sun, consider converting bulky, heavy wigs into a hat fall. For only $100, women can now enjoy wearing that old style sheitel that sits in the back of your closet.

Whether basking in the sun on a beautiful beach, at the pool with the kids or playing a competitive game of tennis, a woman can find a fashionable yet cool and comfortable manner in which to cover their hair all summer long.

High ponytail looks can easily be achieved with most kippah falls and pony wigs in which the hair is sewn in a circular direction.
