On Monday, April 8, TABC enjoyed exciting educational programming to mark the great North American eclipse. Rebbeim delved into the Jewish sources regarding eclipses, including a story about the Chofetz Chaim and his yeshiva experiencing the wonder of Hashem’s creations during a solar eclipse in 1927. Science lessons centered around the phenomenon and explored experiments that have been successful when conducted during an eclipse. After heading outside to witness the “once-in-a-long-time” event, students enjoyed ice cream and ices to celebrate. TABC looks forward to marking the next area solar eclipse!
