TABC recently presented book awards to three outstanding juniors. This year, the Brandeis University Book Award, which is presented each year to an academically outstanding junior who demonstrates a commitment to civic engagement, community service, political activism, social justice or volunteer work, was presented to Eitan Gerszberg.
The Yeshiva University Torah U’madda Book Award is given to young men who are academically motivated in both secular and Judaic studies. More importantly, they must be active members of their school and the overall Jewish community. The recipients must represent the ideals and objectives of Yeshiva University’s unique mission. This year, Moshe Davis and Meir Lightman were presented with the YU Torah Umadda Book Award.
