TABC students in Rabbi Jake Berman’s Chassidus elective visited with Rav Moshe Weinberger of Aish Kodesh in Woodmere last Tuesday. Rav Weinberger schmoozed with the boys about how Torah and mitzvot aren’t just obligations that we are obligated to check off our to-do list, but a means to remembering and fostering a relationship with Hashem. This is the inner meaning of the weeks of teshuva of “shovavim” as well as the main idea of chassidus. The boys then enjoyed an early lunch at Holy Schnitzel before returning to school. The best of both worlds in one morning—ruchnius and gashmius!
