TABC recognizes that the interview can be an important part of any honors application to college. While most state colleges no longer interview students, many private schools and especially the more competitive programs provide students with interview opportunities. To help prepare students for Ivy League and honors programs, TABC held a college interview workshop on Wednesday night. Over 20% of the seniors stayed after school to meet with the two presenters, Daniel Altman, a University of Pennsylvania interviewer and Michal Kaufman, an MIT interviewer. Each presented the students with tips and helpful suggestions for the process. The presentation was followed by mock interviews for those interested. A similar workshop will be held later in the year for students preparing for their Yeshiva University interviews. The workshop was organized by Director of College Guidance Dr. Garry R. Katz.
