Sophomores in the TABC‘s Distinguished Scholars program travelled with Rabbi Shaya First last week to Yeshiva University to meet with their scholarship project mentors. While there, the boys had a chance to meet and shmooze about the research topics with their mentors. There was a broad range of conversation topics, from the history of flags in America, to the range of perspectives on what will happen in messianic times, to Talmudic demonology, and the role of antibiotic resistance in America’s opioid epidemic. Students eagerly discussed their topics of research and interest with their YU mentors and a great time was had by all!
