To conclude their unit on ecology, TABC freshmen had the privilege to hear from Steve Tichenor, the facilities manager at TABC, who maintains the beautiful koi pond located right outside the entrance to the school. He spoke to the students about pH maintenance and the various cycles that the koi pond goes through during the changing weather and fluctuations in temperature. The students even got to view the pond water under the microscope. Thank you to Mr. Tichenor for the interesting and interactive lesson!
