This week, TABC’s sophomore and junior classes experienced a day of inspiration and bonding on the gorgeous campus of Camp Romimu. The day began with inspirational chaburas on the theme of “Teshuva: 3 Steps to a Brighter Future” as student prepared for the Yamim Noraim. Each student had a chance to learn with two rebbeim, and learn together with friends who might not typically be in his classes. Next, students and rebbeim enjoyed a “shiur reunion,” where rebbeim and their talmidim from last year’s Gemara shiurim got to challenge another shiur in sports. After a great morning, a gala BBQ was served for lunch, which was followed by rebbe-student bonding on the open courts of the campus along with amazing activities such as basketball, football, roller hockey, boating and softball. A highlight of the day was the thrilling softball game where the rebbeim triumphed over the students with a close score of 6-5! It was wonderful to see everyone connect outside the classroom with each other and their rebbeim and to have the momentum of this experience carry the talmidim towards the exciting weeks ahead.
