TABC Has a Night to Remember

TABC’s much-hyped “Night to Remember” lived up to its name last Thursday night. With close to 90% of the student body in attendance, the evening was the perfect welcome-back event after the long string of chagim. The program began with everyone gathered together to learn the entire seder Moed. Many thanks to Rabbi Yakov Grun and Rabbi Ezra Stone for organizing the schoolwide learning of Mishnayot, which culminated in festive dancing and a siyum made by Kivi Davis. Following the siyum, Rabbi Elliot Schrier, mara d’atra of Congregation Bnai Yeshurun, delivered a keynote address about the power of a siyum which resonated deeply with students and faculty alike. Everyone then enjoyed a Chickies dinner before boarding the buses for DreamWorks Water Park at American Dream. The entire park was reserved for TABC, and students, rebbeim, faculty and even faculty kids, had a blast as the Storm took over the mall’s legendary water slides and rides. The night was capped off with some fresh cholent before students loaded the buses back to school. What an incredible night of learning, fun and achdut as students from all grades came together for a night they won’t soon forget.
