On Monday, December 27, TABC hosted its annual Jewish Life on Campus event in conjunction with Ma’ayanot. Juniors and their parents were able to hear from current college students across many campuses including Cornell, Princeton, UMass Amherst, Penn, NYU and more. The representatives spoke animatedly about the kosher food, shiurim, minyanim and other Jewish-related activities available on their campuses. Tal Attia, director of Professional Recruitment and Leadership Development for OU-JLIC (Orthodox Union-Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus), framed the evening by explaining JLIC’s mission and the resources they provide to frum students on college campuses. The evening was well-attended and full of excitement as TABC juniors ramp up the college exploration process.
