TABC Jr. Hockey Ends Exciting Season

Pee Wee League Champions, Rangers

(TABC Jr Hockey) The 2024 TABC Jr. Hockey Winter League was a smashing success! A record number of boys signed up and played this past session. It was amazing to see how much the boys improved and how much fun everyone had.

The Pee Wee League (first-second grade) championship was won by the seventh-seeded Rangers! They went on a remarkable run and won four playoff games including beating the top three seeds along the way! The championship game was played in front of a record crowd and was capped off with free Dippin’ Dots for everyone in attendance. Congrats to the entire Rangers team coached by Justin Lipschik and Shmuel Bazian. Special shout out to Charlie Bazian for securing playoff MVP after scoring a hatrick in the championship game!

Jr. League Champions, Maple Leafs

The Jr. League (third-fifth grade) also had an underdog champion! The fourth-seeded Maple Leafs beat the number one seed in the semis and the number three seeded Rangers in the finals. The game was well played by both teams and David Siskind took home playoff MVP, scoring seven goals throughout the playoff run! GO-LEAFS-GO chants could be heard all the way to Votee park!

The Sr. League (sixth-eighth grade) championship was won by the top-seeded Rangers in a well played defensive battle. The Rangers and Islanders were scoreless midway through the second until Mitchell Stamler shot a rocket from the point to score the game’s lone goal and also take home playoff MVP for his strong defensive effort throughout the entire playoff run.

We are excited to open up registration for the Fall 2024 season right after Pesach. Be on the lookout for registration as we are anticipating to be closed out of spots very quickly!
