(TABC Jr. Hockey) Last Wednesday evening, the TABC Jr. Hockey Sr. League championship game was played, pitting the 5th seeded Panthers and the 6th seeded Penguins. Each team had fought their way through tough opponents to get to this point.
The game was back and forth, with stellar goaltending on both ends from Binyamin Katz and Max Mauskopf.
After three periods of hard-fought play, the teams needed overtime to determine the league champion. Within the first minute of overtime, playoff MVP Ozzie Weiss netted the championship clinching goal, as the Penguins completed their run from the 6th seed to the top of the mountain!
Congratulations to everyone on a great season, as well as all awards winners.
