The fifth-seeded Maple Leafs wore their glass slippers all the way through playoffs, defeating the third-seeded Penguins 2-1 to win the championship.

Late in the first period Yechiel Keiser converted a pass from Ephraim Landa on a 2-on-1 to give the Penguins a 1-0 lead after the first. Penguins goalie Gilad Holzer made that score stand up until 2.4 seconds left in the second period when Netanel Fiorino ripped a laser into the top of the net to tie the game at 1-1. Daniel Landa of the Penguins hit the post an amazing three times. If any had gone in, the clock could have struck midnight for the Leafs, but instead with just 3:38 left Zach Levy fed Ian Bromberg in front for what proved to be the championship winning goal.

Goalie Ben Zion Fiorino, with the help of Co-Regular Season MVP and Playoff MVP Akiva Wieder were able to kill off the Penguins furious attempt at an equalizer to finish out the game and the improbable run to the title.
