TABC juniors had fun turning their homes into satellite physics labs last week. Students in Ayelet Kopel’s physics class were tasked with finding a way to explain simple harmonic motion to their classmates by using materials in their own homes. Some made pendulums out of necklaces and backyard swings while others used springs from pens or toys in demonstrating this scientific principle. Pictured are Daniel Kroopnick using a homemade pendulum and Chaim Cohen bouncing different items on a trampoline.
