Last Tuesday night, TABC’s juniors celebrated NBA opening night with a jam-packed program. Right after school, the students enjoyed a dynamic shiur from their grade mechanech, Rabbi Jonathan Kessel, which focused on the halachot of kriyat haTorah. Following the shiur, the students were joined by Head of School Rabbi Shlomo Adelman, a (self-proclaimed) trivia legend, for a game of Panoply. After some rousing rounds of trivia, the students headed to the gym for Corner 3 Line-Up. When game time arrived, there was an all-you-can-eat dinner from Chickies waiting for them and a big screen to watch the opening night matchup between the Nets and Warriors. Everyone enjoyed watching the game together over various forms of fried chicken (there was also a grilled chicken salad option as well) and a great time was had by all!
