In its second year under coaching duo Oswald Cross and Jonathan Packer, the TABC JV Basketball team enters the season with another strong roster. Coach Oz, who has had much success coaching at an AAU level and as an assistant coach at St. John’s University, has brought his talent and leadership back for another season and has high hopes for this year’s team. After an early exit from the playoffs last season, returning sophomores Alex Ostrin, Avi Proctor, Jonathan Haberman, Yechiel Keiser, Joe Baron, Eli Rifkind, Gabe Gerszberg, and Jacob Blumenthal are excited for another chance to compete for a championship. Additions Akiva Hain, Elie Jarashow, and Daniel Heideman look to contribute to the team as well. This group of talented sophomores is joined by a strong freshman group, made up of Yoni Mann, Amichai Citron, Yehuda Mirwis, Shmuli Coates, Ari Kaminetsky, Azariah Bin Nun and Yitzi Weis. The team has practiced often and hard leading up to the season and is excited to see this hard work pay off. TABC opens its season on November 17th with a double header at Ramaz. The team’s home opener is against JEC on November 21 at 7:30. TABC invites everyone to come and cheer on the Storm.
