The TABC Storm JV basketball team came into the playoffs as the number one seed and faced YDE, who was hot off an upset win over DRS. YDE brought plenty of fans who filled the TABC gym with noise and energy. This helped them jump out to an early lead, and finish the quarter up by four. The Storm and their fans responded in the second, scoring 20 points and going into halftime up 26-15. This run was led by guards Jonathan Haberman and Yoni Mann, who scored six and seven points respectively in the quarter alone. Haberman would go on to finish with a team leading twelve points while Mann totaled eleven.
In the second half, TABC stayed strong and prevented YDE from pulling another comeback. YDE would come close at the beginning of the fourth quarter, but TABC once again rebounded and came out with an eighteen point win.
TABC now moves on to the semifinals, where they will face HAFTR at home on Monday night. The JV hockey team also plays HAFTR on Monday, so it will make for an exciting night of sports at TABC, with both JV teams hopefully moving on to the championships.
