When TABC battled Frisch in the final game of the season, there was more at stake than a win in a local rivalry game. On the line was first place in the conference and, more importantly, home court advantage throughout the playoffs. The highly anticipated game started as a back and forth battle with both teams getting some early chances to put the ball in the net. The Storm struck first with top goal scorer Yair Knoller squeezing it past Frisch goaltender Matty Reinhart. After a few more great chances for the Storm, defenseman Calev Minsky cleared on net and the screened goalie never saw it until it was in the back of the net to give TABC the 2-0 lead at the end of the first.

The second period was dominated by TABC and highlighted by Daniel Levy’s goal to give the Storm a commanding 3-0 lead heading into the third period.

The Cougars came out strong at the beginning of the third and netted a quick goal to get back in the game. After that, the Storm rebounded and stayed strong for the rest of the game with superb goaltending by Shua Beilin. The game was sealed with the second goal of the game by Daniel Levy.

TABC won 4-1and, more importantly, clinched home court advantage throughout the playoffs.
