TABC JV Hockey Storms Into the Championship

(Courtesy of TABC) The TABC JV hockey team headed out to the Five Towns for a big semifinal matchup against DRS on Sunday. With the stakes as high as ever, the Storm played their most complete game of the season. Offense, defense and goaltending all came together to deliver a resounding 4-1 victory on the road. The Storm defense was strong all game long as they limited DRS’s ability to maintain any offensive momentum. AJ Seplowitz continued his goal-scoring tear and Chaim Mermelstein was stellar in net, once again, as the Storm jumped out and never looked back. Heading into the third period, with the score 2-1, TABC added a few insurance goals as they punched their ticket to the championship game. They will play in the championship on Sunday, March 15, back in the Five Towns.
