After a tough last inning loss against SAR, the TABC JV Softball team came out swinging against Frisch this past Sunday. In game one of their doubleheader, strong hitting led by sophomores Elan Goldstein and Ezra Kopstick, and strong base-running by freshman Joey Zelig helped the team score runs in nearly every inning. Sophomore pitcher Ari Smith pitched a great game, limiting the runs for Frisch. While the Cougars started to come back in the later innings, strong defensive plays by freshman Netanel Eckman and the rest of the outfielders helped secure the 14-5 win for the Storm. In the second game, sophomore AJ Zimbalist took the mound, and held Frisch to two runs over seven innings. With some additional strong defense by freshman Noah Beckoff and hitting by sophomore Noam Kinderleherer, TABC held on to win the second game 3-2. With a 3-1 record going into vacation, the team is looking forward to the rest of the season, and making a strong push into the playoffs.
