TABC students prepared for the Thanksgiving break by recharging their spiritual batteries with an evening of late night learning. The focus of the night was tefillah, as the talmidim heard shiurim from Rabbi Ezra Wiener, Rabbi Raphi Mandelstam and Rabbi Daniel Fridman on issues relating to prayer. Three of the rebbeim, Rabbis Duvie Nachbar, Nosson Rich and Yoni Mandelstam then participated in a rebbe panel, as the talmidim explored aspects of tefillah that were on their minds. The issues ranged from halacha to hashkafa to personal feelings. Interspersed in the schedule was time with friends and, of course, good food. Everyone left with a richer understanding of, and greater commitment to, their own tefillah.
