On Thursday, January 3, TABC’s Leadership Kollel had the privilege of hearing from YU Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Daniel Stein. Rabbi Stein presented a dynamic and wide ranging analysis of leadership in the Torah world based on aspects of Moshe’s and Aharon’s unique characteristics and leadership decisions. Rabbi Stein highlighted the fact that self sacrifice and sensitivity to the greater good are aspects of leadership that must be present for a leader to be successful. TABC was thrilled to have Rabbi Stein among a distinguished group of guest speakers who address the Leadership Kollel throughout the year. The Leadership Kollel provides motivated students with the opportunity to be a part of a specialized limudei kodesh program at TABC. It is a two-year commitment beginning in ninth grade. The program aims to empower young leaders and train students to become active participants of talmud Torah in the local Jewish community and beyond.
