Last Wednesday night, TABC’s freshmen enjoyed an after-school program filled with a little bit of everything. Head of School Rabbi Shlomo Adelman welcomed the students and told them how impressed he has been with the way they have handled such a challenging first year of high school. Ninth-grade mechanech Rabbi Michael Hoenig followed with a shiur about respecting others and how important it is to lift people up rather than drag them down. Rav Yitz Rabovsky, director of Student Activities, then hosted a rousing Panoply game that had the room abuzz. Next up was a Spikeball tournament run by popular rebbe Rabbi Ezra Stone in the gym, followed by a delicious dinner from Chickies. Even though the event was optional, nearly the entire grade chose to attend!
