Despite the frigid temperatures, TABC was able to spread some of its trademark warmth to the Highland Park community at their much-anticipated shabbaton there last Shabbat. Over 100 talmidim traveled to Highland Park, one of the many communities which make up the TABC family, braving the extreme cold weather to spend Shabbat together. After spending the first seudah at their hosts, everyone joined for an oneg at the Berg home (parents of Yoni Berg ‘20). It was a night of heartfelt singing and Torah delivered by Rabbi Einhorn.
The next day, everyone davened together in Congregation Ahavas Achim’s teen minyan, where they were addressed by Rabbi First and then enjoyed the seudah held in the shul. In the afternoon, there were optional shiurim given by Rabbi First, Rabbi Krinsky and Rabbi Yoni Mandelstam. For the fourth year in a row, the Kreitmans (parents of Raphi ‘18) hosted seudah shlishit and Mr. Kreitman shared words of Torah. After Havdala, the group headed to the Urban Air Trampoline Park for a night of fun and bonding.
