This past Tuesday was the inaugural session of Rabbi Adelman’s Mussar Cafe! Each Tuesday and Thursday, Rabbi Adelman (with doughnuts and hot cocoa in hand) will visit a first period shiur and explore topics of character development and self-improvement through a Torah lens. During the first week, Rabbi Adelman visited both a ninth and 10th grade shiur and led animated discussions on the phrase “והיה ברכה” from last week’s parsha, its meaning (Is it a promise or a commandment? R’ Hirsch says the latter.) and ways to fulfill this unique charge. No better way to start the day than with Rabbi Adelman and the Mussar Cafe!
