As a special Adar surprise, TABC’s seniors enjoyed a unique activity last Wednesday. After being bused to Garden State Plaza, the boys were assigned in teams to perform and film a series of tasks—showing off their talents to strangers, getting people to review the food they were eating, convincing people to buy certain items, performing their legendary Let’s Go Storm! chant in a creative and public way and the like. They then came back to school for a gourmet lunch from Carlos & Gabby’s and to view their collected videos. The compiled film was creative and funny and was enjoyed by the boys and the adults who were involved in running and chaperoning the activity. A few days following the inaugural Garden State Challenge, the winning team, the “OutOfTowners,” enjoyed Fireside’s signature massive meat special to celebrate their victory.
