TABC Sophomores Enjoy End-of-Year Trip

In celebration of almost reaching the halfway point of high school, TABC’s sophomores enjoyed a special gradewide outing last Thursday, April 11. The day started with a trip to Rabbi Daniel Kalish in Waterbury, who captivated the students with his trademark warmth, sincerity and palpable love for all of Am Yisrael. He highlighted the importance of unity among Jews and stressed that when we encounter Jews from communities different than our own, we should not use the term “them” but rather “us.” Next, the students competed in an exciting game of paintball, enjoying lunch during “halftime.” From there, they headed to the Sports Center of Connecticut for a variety of indoor and outdoor entertainment, including unlimited golf, arcade, bowling, laser tag and more. The day was capped off with a scrumptious all-you-can-eat buffet dinner at Eden Wok. The students really enjoyed the opportunity to bond as a grade and deepen their connections to their rebbeim and faculty in a relaxed atmosphere.
