Sophomore chemistry students at TABC learned about exothermic and endothermic reactions by performing different chemical reactions and recording the initial and final temperatures of each reaction. They proved that oxygen gas was released from their final experiment by relighting a splint using the produced oxygen. This lab was truly “on fire!”
