Last week was a busy one for STEM at TABC! On Motzei Shabbat April 2, a delegation of 12 students, accompanied by TABC’s STEM Director Aryeh Tiefenbrunn, went down to Philadelphia for Kohelet Yeshiva’s Hackathon. The goal of the Hackathon was for students to envision that the Beit HaMikdash had been rebuilt, and to design and code the next big app for the Jewish people. The TABC boys worked all day Sunday and Monday in three groups, developing apps to coordinate different aspects of aliyah l’regel and bringing korbanot. The boys won third place overall for the “Korban Assistant” app!
The next day, TABC’s robotics team went to compete in the CIJE Robotics competition, where two of their robots made it to the final round. One robot ended up winning third place overall, while the other won first place! This rounds off an epic year of achievements for TABC Robotics, and their championship victory highlights the students’ hard work and dedication.
