TABC Storm Varsity Softball Defeats Heichal Hatorah

After having the game canceled on two previous occasions, TABC finally played Heichal Hatorah to start the season. TABC has very high expectations for this season, but they were facing star Heichal pitcher, Binyamin Senter, one of the best softball pitchers in the yeshiva league. He has a lot of velocity on the pitches and knows exactly where to place the ball. However, this game did not find him well. After a quiet first inning for both squads, TABC cracked the scoreboard in the second, starting with a leadoff single from their left center fielder, Shai Rosalimsky. From then on, everything went upwards for TABC. They got hit after hit and run after run, eventually blowing out Heichal. TABC got distributions from everybody across the board. Ephraim Tiger got the play of the game hitting an inside the park homer in the fifth. Zach Rothenberg had an amazing game, pitching a complete shutout. He only had to deal with one jam when Tani Motechin, of Heichal, hit a leadoff triple to start the fifth inning. Thanks to two amazing plays from both Yonatan Sturm, at second base, and Solly Weiser, at first base, he was able to get out of the jam with his shutout intact. The two players of the game were by far Zach Rothenberg, with his complete game shutout and one run scored, and Shai Rosalimsky, who went 3-3 at the plate with a single, double, and triple, scoring two, and bringing in two more. At the end of the competition, TABC shut out Heichal by a score of 10-0.
