A delegation of eight TABC juniors and seniors, along with Associate Principal Rabbi Steven Finkelstein, spent the week of Chanukah in Israel immersed in chesed and mitzvot. Highlights of their trip included bikur cholim visits to wounded chayalim, running activities for children who were displaced from communities on the Gaza border, grilling for soldiers on army bases, picking fruits and vegetables for farmers who were called up for service, and Chanukah candle lighting with families from the south of Israel. Special thanks to Rabbi Ethan Katz of the OU for spearheading this meaningful trip for the students and for helping them spread light on the Festival of Lights!
