TABC Students Continue Adar Celebrations

TABC continued Adar celebrations last Wednesday with three big events. The festivities commenced with a carnival run by Rabbi Jonathan Kessel’s 11th grade Halacha shiur for the entire school. As music blasted through the gym, faculty and students alike played carnival games which included many classics including 3-point shootout, golf hole-in-one, how many candies in a jar, hockey accuracy, fish bowl and more. Students were motivated to play and win with a variety of awesome prizes on the line. When all was said and done, over $2,700 was raised for Tomchei Shabbos.

Later in the day, over 200 students stayed after school for a special night seder with Rabbi Daniel Kalish who shared captivating words of divrei chizuk and Torah. The students enjoyed a delicious dinner before heading to the gym for an exciting doubleheader against Frisch. Before the varsity game, the seniors on the team were honored for their accomplishments both on and off the court. Mishenichnas Adar marbim b’simcha!
