TABC’s talmidim reunited with one another on the Welcome Back Shabbaton for sophomores, juniors and seniors. The seniors went up to the Camp Kaylie grounds on Thursday for some extra bonding time. On Friday, all the grades were afforded the choices of paintballing, white water rafting or sports on the campgrounds. Everyone joined together for an uplifting Shabbat replete with camaraderie, ruach and learning. At night, rebbeim led a thought provoking discussion about how to understand the concept of ‘Am segulah’ and the tish energized the room. On Shabbat day, each grade had the opportunity to ask a rebbe panel about the issues they have burning in their minds, in what will hopefully be the beginning of many fruitful discussions throughout the year. Shabbat ended with wonderful singing, as the talmidim prepared to take the spirit of the shabbaton back with them to TABC.
