On Thursday evening, March 30, several students from TABC’s theater department took a trip to the Schottenstein Theater at Yeshiva University to see the YU production of Bertolt Brecht’s “The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui.” TABC alum and current YCDS president Rami Levin ‘20 invited the students and Mrs. Lopkin, TABC’s director of Performing Arts, to see the closing show. Gedaliah Akselrod ‘21 also performed in the show and Aharon Nissel ‘18, both a TABC and YU alum also came to see the show and join in the post-show picture. TABC students Ohr Avishur ’24, Ilan Nissel ‘24, Akiva Schild ‘23 were fascinated to see the caliber of theater and performance at YU and were thrilled to be included in this special night. “It was so special to see both my former and current students coming together to share a night of theater,” Lopkin remarked. “I am especially proud to see our graduates carrying on TABC’s tradition of theater excellence at YU.”
