After a tough opening season home loss to a big and physical SAR (5-4), and after a solid rebounding victory away at Frisch (7-3), TABC hosted NSHA. The game started decisively with TABC scoring three quick goals in the first period, two from Golan Meir (’17) and one from Aviel Avidan (’17). The second period, displayed TABC’s stifling defense and run-and-gun offense resulting in three more goals, two from Dov Baron (‘18’) and one from Avi Lowy (’17). The third period continued more of the same with additional goals from Golan Meir (’17), Dov Baron (’18), Ari Lowy (’17), and a final clincher from Refael Minsky (’18); the result was a third period mercy of 10-0. Moving into the fourth period, TABC continued its roll with four more goals by from Efraim Tiger (’18), Ami Gerszberg (’18), Josh Lieman (‘17), and a beautiful top of the key strike down the middle from Meir Olshin (’16). The final tally was 14-2.
Throughout the game there was an outstanding display of goal-tending by Yoshi Spivak (’17), earning him his, and TABC JV’s, first shutout. Also remarkable, was the solid defense and back-floor control of Yosef Goldblatt (’17), Aviel Avidan (’17), Ezra Friedman (’18), and Ari Lowy (’17).
