On Monday night, November 24th, the JEC Thunder clashed with the TABC Storm in the Weather Center, home of TABC.
The Storm ran out to an early 14-3 lead with all five starters scoring in the opening minutes. Additionally, the highly anticipated return of senior guard Dan Poleyeff saw signature “Jimmer range” 3-point field goals to keep the Storm up 10 going into the half.
The second half saw more of the same as Moshe “Baseline” Brum poured in a game-high 18 points. The Varsity storm closed out the game winning by the score of 56-47.
The Storm were led by Moshe Brum with 18 points, Dan Poleyeff with 13, Solo Shulman with 11 and Azi Fine with 7 as TABC captured this year’s first installment of the “Weather Bowl.”
