TABC Volleyball Advances To Semifinals

(TABC sports) The TABC Volleyball team traveled to Brooklyn to take on the Magen David Warriors in the first round of the playoffs on Monday night. The Storm were looking to continue their history-making inaugural season in volleyball by adding a playoff win to their list of achievements. The Warriors appeared to rattle the Storm early on but TABC coach Omar Munoz inspired the boys to play with freedom and to remember what made them so successful in the first place. After the Warriors won the opening set, it was all Storm the rest of the way. TABC went with their starters the entire way (Eitan Vogel ‘24, Amichai Dresdner ‘24, Ezra Alter ‘24, Akiva Sytner ‘25, Ari Strohli ‘25, and Gabe Melnikov ‘26) and all six were successful on serve, never committing a fault the entire night. Vogel led the offense, hitting the majority of winners for the Storm, while acrobatics from Melnikov and Alter kept plays alive and won several key points for the Storm. TABC won three straight sets after dropping the opening one, winning overall 14-21, 21-13, 21-15, 21-15. The Storm now advance to the semifinals!
