TABC welcomed over 130 eighth grade students for a fun filled night at its November mishmar event. Numerous TABC rebbeim and current students—from freshmen to seniors, came out to meet this large group of prospective students and demonstrate what it means to be part of TABC. After a delicious Dougie’s dinner, the eighth graders enjoyed participating in Torah learning—first in small group chaburot led by current students and then joined in a shiur given by TABC rebbeim. The evening concluded with the students’ choice of basketball drills led by Rabbis Ezra Stone and Yitz Rabovsky, a hockey clinic with JV coach Norm Blumenthal or the game room including a chess match with Rabbi Shaya First. Many students also took advantage of an additional shiur that was given by Rabbi Ben Krinsky. Current students from all grades and prospective students alike, enjoyed meeting each other and learning together. It’s wonderful to see students enjoying Torah, good food and fun recreational activities within the classic warmth of TABC.
