“Sesu v’simchu b’simchat Torah, u’t’nu kavod laTorah.” TABC had the wonderful zechut of having a Hachnasat Sefer Torah last week. The entire yeshiva davened together and then partook in a festive breakfast to celebrate the occasion. Each grade then alternated between hearing a shiur from Rav Yaakov Neuberger, Rosh Yeshiva at YU and Rav of Congregation Beth Abraham; the privilege of writing a letter in the Sefer Torah; a hands-on safrut experience; and a shiur from Rav Mordechai Finkelman, Mashgiach Ruchani of Yeshivat Orach Chaim. The morning concluded with joyous singing with Eitan Katz, as the Torah was danced to its new home. Rabbi Scott Friedman and his family partnered with TABC to restore this beautiful Torah.
