Children of the Chabad Hebrew School performed the Tashlich ceremony at a stream behind the Synagogue in Franklin Lakes. In the Jewish faith, water is a symbol of renewal and fish a symbol of spiritual abundance. During the High Holidays, worshipers congregate at a running body of water where they recite psalms and feed the fish.
