On Tuesday evening, the Tenafly Chabad Academy family and friends gathered to celebrate their eighth graders’ graduation with much pride and nachat. The entire faculty and staff, along with parents, grandparents, extended family members and friends, were beaming with pride as they watched the graduates taking turns speaking about the most important lessons they have learned during their time at TCA. The students were filled with appreciation and gratitude to have learned so much throughout the years from their teachers and peers. Some even shed tears as they reminisced about their memorable years at Tenafly Chabad Academy. After the students received customized midot awards based on their personal character traits, they were delighted to unwrap meaningful gifts, such as personalized lucite tzedaka boxes from TCA Parent Association, the book “Towards a Meaningful Life,” gifted to them by Rabbi Shain, a custom-made class sweatshirt with their favorite quotes, a canvas painting about staying positive in life, and a two sided lucite picture frame displaying their pictures in caps and gowns, as well as the message that all they need is inside of them! At the end of the evening, the graduates watched a surprise presentation done by their teachers, who each took turns describing and recognizing each student for all the tremendous talents and gifts they possess within them.
