On Thursday June 13, Tenafly Chabad Academy recognized a significant milestone with the graduation of its second eighth grade class. Each member of the class of 10 graduates delivered their own personal speech to the proud families, friends, rabbis, teachers, administrators and board members.
Principal of Judaic Studies Orite Rubenstein, was the emcee for the night, and welcomed all the guests including Mayor of Tenafly Peter Rustin. Rabbi Mordechai Shain, the founder and executive director, presented individual awards and books to the graduates, while the parent association gave a personalized gift to each student. Meital Teitelman, the principal of General Studies, shared an inspirational message encouraging the students to find ways to make their unique contributions to the community and to always persevere. The president of TCA, Michael Young, shared a congratulatory message with the audience. On display was magnificent artwork created by the TCA graduates under the guidance of Estyn Becker.
TCA provides excellence in education, in both general and Judaic studies, in a warm, supportive and academic environment. Its faculty is comprised of top notch educators who are passionate about their students’ intellectual and spiritual growth. The proud graduates of 2019 will be attending the following high schools: The Frisch School, The Idea School, Ma’ayanot, MTA, The Ramaz School and Teaneck High School.
