Tenafly Chabad Academy kicked off a new kindness program featuring a midah for each month. This month’s theme was Chesed Cheshvan. Each week teachers are on the lookout to “catch” their students exhibiting acts of kindness and awarding them with a Mentch Card. Mentch Cards are then entered into a weekly raffle and the winners are treated to a trip to 7 Eleven for slurpees- what an appropriate reward for being mentches! Next month’s theme for Chodesh Kislev is—koach hadibur—the power of speech!
