Team Eric Walks—and Rocks—Verona Park

(Courtesy of Team Eric) A small but hearty representation from Team Eric walked Verona Park on Nov. 1, masked and socially distant, and beat the rain to send a message of hope and support for those survivors of suicide and those people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and to raise awareness of the challenges in mental health. The walk took place during the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Experience.

Team Eric is proud to have been the top fundraiser for the West Essex chapter, as well as in the top 10 fundraisers for the New Jersey chapter of AFSP, raising over $6,500.

Team Eric walks in memory of Eric Eliezer Levenson, z”l, who died by suicide in February 2016, at the age of 28, after a 14-year battle with mental illness.
