#TeamJEC had an effective day of professional development focused on teamwork and communication. Beginning the day with a team-building escape room experience, the faculty shone as they worked together to solve multiple puzzles. The energy from the experience continued throughout the day as the faculty functioned as one, learning and growing together. The workshops on differentiated instruction, communication and responsive classroom were engaging and relevant. JEC Early Childhood teachers had the chance to explore the new sensory room, and there were additional Early Childhood sessions on supporting different learners and enhancing curriculum. “Teachers are already implementing strategies from the different sessions,” enthuses JEC Principal Rabbi Uzi Beer, “reflecting the JEC’s commitment to a warm, individualized and excellent education for each child.”
