Teaneck Baseball 11U Fall Travel Team Enters PBI Tournament

Joining the Fall PBI Baseball League Tournament, the 11U Teaneck Travel Baseball (TBO) team has added just one player to their now 13 player squad. The team had all 12 players from last year’s fall team return.

Last year’s roster of Akiva Boyarsky, Netanel Eckman, Aaron Epstein, Yis Kaminetzky, Abie Schwartz, Natan Solomon,Yehuda Teitelman, David Uretsky, Yair Wall, Caleb Wolin, Eli Zaretsky, and Joey Zelig now has even more talent depth with the arrival of newcomer Jacob Rothman.

2013’s team leader, Chaim Schwartz, has retired as manager of the Fall Team after another successful summer run to the Paramus championship game. New team manager Adam Wall has stepped up to the plate and brings with him returning coaches Ira Zaretsky and Howard Teitelman, as well as new fall coach Matt Wolin. The many lessons that Schwartz and past coaches have instilled in this team will certainly carry forward to this year’s returning veterans.

Last fall, as the 10U team, this squad finished in 5th place out of 10 teams while outscoring opponents 59 to 55 in total runs and defeating two of the top-four ranked teams. This year, 11U hopes to build on that foundation and improve on last fall’s strong season.
