Teaneck Chabad Preschool studied some authors in depth. Each class chose a different author to learn about and explore the world that author created in his/her books. Pre-nursery read books by Jan Brett. Their favorite was “The Mitten,” a story about a boy whose lost mitten becomes a haven for animals to climb inside and keep warm. Nursery read many Mo Willems books and did many interesting corresponding activities. They published their own version of “We are in a Book.” Pre-K studied Eric Carle and his unique style of illustrating his books. They published their very own Eric Carle style class book.
