A new program at Teaneck Chabad Preschool, Interactive Parsha with Morah Miriam Shapiro, brings the weekly parsha to life. The children learn about the parsha and role-play the events that occur. This week the children built a teivah out of blocks, then dressed up as Noach and some animals. They dressed up as the yonah, “flew” around the classroom to search for dry land and found a “tree” which indicated that it was safe to come out of the teivah. Then the children made big rainbows with colorful ribbons.
