Children at Teaneck Chabad Preschool learned about Purim and the megilla. They compared and contrasted a sefer Torah and a megilla. The lesson became a full body experience as they discussed the way each one is rolled. Morah Leah wrapped two children in a shawl and placed them on either side of another shawl and rolled them towards each other, like a sefer Torah. Then she wrapped one child in a shawl and “rolled him up” like a megilla. These children will never forget this difference between a Torah and a megilla.
