Friends of Lubavitch of Bergen County is hosting a lecture for women on the topic of “Raising Happy Children” by Bronya Shaffer on Monday, February 27 at 8 p.m. The lecture will be held at the Teaneck Chabad House, 513 Kenwood Pl. and is free of charge.

Some children are easier to raise than others because they are cooperative, happy, flexible and a joy to be with; they make their parents look like parenting geniuses. Others, however, can be more challenging. “Raising Happy Children” will focus on both types and what we can do to make the task of parenting more effective. Shaffer mentors Jewish women, couples and adolescents, facilitates several women’s self-awareness and support groups, and leads workshops on child-rearing and relationships. She speaks world-wide on intimacy, marriage and women.
